Turning in Screen Shots Electronically
In a Word file (*.doc)
-
Copy the screen image to the clipboard (two ways):
-
ALT + PrintScrn - Captures only the active window (the one with blue title
bar)
-
PrintScrn - Captures full screen
-
Paste your image from the clipboard into a Word file.

Click on START, NEW OFFICE DOCUMENT, and press ENTER key to select BLANK
DOCUMENT.

Press CTRL + V to paste the contents of the clipboard into Word
-
Save the Word file using your six character codename (first 5 letters of
your last name, plus your first initial) plus your two digit assignment
number.

Click FILE, then click SAVE AS
-
Type A:\ plus your file name
(8 characters - no spaces)

press ENTER key to save your file
-
Copy your file to the HOMEWORK folder on the network.

Click START, RUN, then type A: and press ENTER key

Right click your file and click COPY
-
Click START, RUN and type \\harris and press the ENTER key
-
Right click on the HOMEWORK folder and click PASTE (wait several seconds
for file to copy)

Make sure your file copied to the HOMEWORK folder.

Click START, RUN, then type \\harris\homework and press the ENTER key
-
Look up your codename alphabetically to see if your file is there (if not,
repeat step 4)
