Each Tutorial will have FOUR specific assignments:
Quick Checks: Type the answers to each Quick Check Session. Label each Quick Check Session with the page number. No need to retype questions, just start with the question number, followed by the answer. Note that the correct answers to each Quick Check Session can be found at the end of each Tutorial.
Review Assignments: Work through the steps in the Review Assignments at the end of each Tutorial, saving screen shots each time you're asked to print.
Case 1: (The first Tutorial calls them Projects not Cases)Work through the steps in the first Case Problem at the end of each Tutorial, saving screen shots each time you're asked to print.
How to paste screen shots into Word document:
Any time you're asked to print something, capture the screen image by pressing the PRINT SCREEN key (on the keyboard). This will copy your screen shot to the clipboard.
Paste your screen shot into your Word document (CTRL + V or click Edit, then click Paste)
Label each screen shot with the page number and step
number.
on the desktop, then double-click
.Click START, FIND, COMPUTER. Type HARRIS and press ENTER key. Double-click Harris computer icon. You will see a yellow Homework folder.
Close all open windows except Harris computer window and 3½ Floppy (A) window. If necessary, resize and move open windows so that both windows are visible.
With the RIGHT mouse button, drag your homework file(s) from your 3½ Floppy (A) to the yellow Homework folder. When the homework folder turns blue it is selected. Once selected, release the mouse button to drop your homework file into the homework folder. You’ll see a pop up window asking if you want to Copy, Move, Create Shortcut, or Cancel. Click COPY.
To verify that your assignment was turned in, double-click the homework folder and look up your assignment alphabetically. If it is not there, re-do step #4 above.
